Most private tutors tutoring in their own home are not appropriately insured.
If there is an accident and a child or parent is injured and the tutor is liable
then most private tutors and teachers do not have Public Liability Insurance to cover this.

If there is an accident and damage is caused to property or person and the stutor is liable

Commercial Public Liability Insurance cover up to £1,000,000 in Student's home
Commercial Public Liability Insurance Cover up to £1,000,000 in other UK venues
